天天吃瓜 STEM 10
Teaching Elementary Students Skills of the Future
STEM careers are continuing to grow at an astounding rate. However, most elementary schools have not yet incorporated STEM into their curriculum.
天天吃瓜 STEM 10 is designed to prepare students for careers in science and technology. The program introduces coding to 天天吃瓜 students in 3rd grade. Each year students will expand their knowledge and further develop their skills in STEM fields. By the time students are in 9th grade, they get the opportunity to learn in a Career and Technical field that matches their interests.
STEM 10 鈥 Level 1
In the first year of STEM-10, students take the Level 1 Coding Course. This course targets students in the 3rd grade, but is excellent for any student starting out in coding. Beginning at square zero, the course advances step-by-step through the fundamentals of coding providing students with direct instruction as they work through the course. Part way through the course, students are introduced to Cellus Bot, an educational robot that provides hands-on coding practice.
STEM 10 鈥 Level 2
The second year of STEM-10 (targeting 4th grade), students meet AC-D2, a sophisticated robot that is a master dancer. With approximately 10,000 possible step combinations, AC-D2 can sway twist and dance. Students learn to program this more advanced robot through the Level 2 天天吃瓜 coding course, which teaches students the syntax needed to program in JavaScript. This allows students to engage in serious coding tasks that will control the robot鈥檚 personality and movements.

Will the tuition go up as my elementary student enters higher grades?
No, our tuition is based on a monthly or annual plan. The grade level or number of courses (1-6) does not affect the tuition rate.
